Ogake Bridal
Ogake Bridal is a distinct Kenyan atelier that creates bespoke bridal and wedding gowns. It provides a meeting point for personal tastes and unique, global trends. The brand was officially established in 2013, with a vision of creating masterfully tailored clothing using a combination of classic techniques and creative, contemporary styling. In 2016, the brand refined its focus to creating beautiful Bridal and evening gowns with artisanal, and couture detailing. Our bespoke gowns are created from a variety of exclusive fabrics and trims which are handpicked from around the world with the modern, savvy woman in mind. Ogake Mosomi was the Wedding Dress Designer of the Year at the Kenya Wedding Industry Awards in 2019 and has designed gowns for a number of local and international high profile clients including Zain Asher (CNN- Africa Journalist Awards), Adelle Onyango, Senator Naisula Lesuuda, and other private clients.

The Designer | Ogake Mosomi
Ogake Bridal was established by Ogake Mosomi, a fashion school graduate of University for the Creative Arts (Rochester). Little did she know that her experience working at Antonia Pugh Thomas and Jenny Packham, both bridal designers in London would influence the direction of her business. Whilst creating a variety of bespoke fashion products, Ogake noticed a gap in the Kenyan market as brides were looking for gowns which fit their bodies perfectly and spoke to their personal style. In 2016 she made a big decision to focus on custom bridal gowns. This love affair is in line with the designer’s affinity for high end artisanal design and masterfully tailored clothing using a combination of classic techniques and creative, contemporary styling. Ogake is also a design lecturer, mentor, and coach and is passionate about design excellence and building the profile of the Kenyan fashion industry
